Christina Chrysanthopoulou

Christina Chrysanthopoulou was born in Athens, Greece in 1986. She is an architect engineer and holds a Master's degree on "Art and Virtual Reality", a collaboration between the Athens School of Fine Arts and the Paris 8 University. She has several publications in conferences such as Hybrid City II in Athens, Digital Storytelling in Times of Crisis in Athens, IEEE VR2015 in Arles, and VS-Games Barcelona 2017, concerning the creation of digital content for educational and artistic applications.

She has participated with personal and group projects in various exhibitions and festivals, such as Festival Miden 2014 in Kalamata, the "Invisible Cities" festival, the “Portes Ouvertes” exhibition at the Athens School of Fine Arts, the exhibition "Dream Minds in Virtual Bodies" at the "metamatic Taf" gallery in Athens, and Ars Electronica 2015 at the section of the exhibition organized by Paris 8.
She is the co-founder and art director of ViRA | Virtual Reality Applications, a company based in Greece that focuses on the creation of interactive content and game development. ViRA currently works on two virtual reality games, one of which has been awarded second place and a praise for "Most interesting narrative" at the Prometheus Game Jam 2017. ViRA often partners with another game development company named eNVy softworks, whose members' collaboration formed the group eNViRA.

She has worked as an adjunct professor at the multimedia lab of the Athens School of Fine Arts and has conducted multiple seminars on virtual reality and game design at institutions and research centers such as the Onassis Cultural Center.
